BOOTCAMP is a high intensity outdoor/indoor training program designed to challenge all aspects of your health and fitness.
Boot camp runs for 12 sessions over 4 weeks, Mon - Wed – Fri. Each session lasting for a minimum of 60 minutes commencing at 0600 hrs and finishing no later than 0715 hrs. You can choose any 2 days of the week. Our Boot camp courses are standard across the area.
Do I need to be fit to do Boot Camp?
Not at all, that's why you are coming to us. On first day of the course we put all recruits through a basic fitness assessment.
What sort of results will I get?
The two most obvious results of Boot Camp are 'Fat Loss' and 'increased cardio-vascular fitness'. Other benefits of this training regime are, increased muscle tone, improved muscular strength & endurance, agility, and also improved self esteem & confidence.
What makes Boot Camp so different to other fitness programs?
There are a number of major differences:
- Your instructor always knows if you are slacking off.
- Your instructors don't only challenge you physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.
- You will see and feel the difference (even) in the first two weeks.
What will I be doing in a Boot Camp session?
The course is designed to challenge you physically & mentally.
You will perform activities including but not limited to:
- Running, Squad Runs (all together as a team), Stair Climbs, Sand Jogging and Hill Training.
- Pushups, Sit ups, Prone & Lateral Bridging, Carry's and Team Strength Challenges.
- Specifically designed Mission Days to challenge the individual and team to achieve a set objective.
- BFA = Basic Fitness Tests - to gauge 'where you are at' before, during and at the end of Corp Training.
Is Boot Camp Safe?
Safety is a priority of our Boot Camp. We take every precaution to ensure that you are safe at all times. All our instructors carry first aid kits and are trained to use them. We encourage every recruit to manage their own personal safety by wearing suitable exercise clothing, shoes and to maintain safe levels of hydration during exercise. Each recruit is required to complete a Recruit Enlistment Form and where necessary will be advised to obtain medical clearance prior to commencement. Please note that our instructors can prevent you from participating if they suspect any activity will be unsafe or dangerous for your health and wellbeing.
Who will your instructors be?
All Boot Camp instructors are qualified fitness professionals with the necessary fitness industry recognition and are known as competent providers of the Boot Camp Corp Training program.
If I have friends that want to do Boot Camp with me, do I get a discount?
We do have provisions for group discounts however this is to be discussed at the time of enlistment. If a discount is given, it is a 'one off' which means if you return the next month the discount will need to be arranged again.
If I miss a session can I make it up in another month?
The Boot Camp program is a month by month program and as a policy make up sessions are not permitted.
What do I need to bring to my Boot Camp Corp Training sessions?
You will need to wear comfortable workout gear with appropriate shoes you can run in. Also bring a full water bottle and a small towel for afterwards.
If I choose not to continue with Boot Camp Corps Training during a course, will I get a refund?
Once a course commences there are no refunds.
